  2. Why do we keep going back in time and compare this with the movie Hilary Swank made? That was the time Harvey Weinstein was in the prime of his “game” and no one has even heard of the term “inclusion rider”. The problem here IMO is more about opportunity than about representation. There might only be a handful of decent transgender actors/actresses but we will never hear about them coz we don’t ever give them any roles to play. I’d much rather have an honest indie film with a killer script than a meh one hiring more established names just for the exposure.
