  1. Not a single word on Hacksaw Ridge that is by far the best movie of the year. Mel Gibson said a big “FUCK YOU” to Hollywood and made another MASTERPIECE of a movie on his own terms. Very emotional, brutal and with a great heart to it. Hacksaw Ridge deserves Best Movie and Best Director, same with any Sound related awards, the sound in that movie is amazing ! People today are biased against Mel for his political and religious positions, therefore people refuse to praize his amazing work as director.

    • No doubt Mel came back big time this year. Looks like he’s found himself in the good graces of Hollywood again! FWIW, we do have Hacksaw Ridge winning Best Sound Editing, but just couldn’t fit all categories in a 4 minute video!

  2. They said nothing about Hacksaw Ridge??? I mean, it’s probably not gonna win best picture but should still earn some credit?

  3. My predictions:
    Best Picture- La La Land
    Best Actress- Emma Stone
    Best Actor- Casey Affleck
    Best Supporting Actress- Viola Davis
    Best Supporting Actor- Mahershala Ali
    Best Adapted Screenplay- Arrival
Best Original Screenplay- La La Land
