When it comes to these villains, the heroes have only themselves to blame. For this list, we’re looking at villains whose origin stories are the direct result of their heroic adversaries. Our list includes Kylo Ren in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” (2017), Syndrome in “The Incredibles” (2004), as well as a slew of Marvel and DC villains, from Mysterio in “Spider-Man: Far From Home” (2019) to Two-Face in “The Dark Knight” (2008). Which villain do YOU think has the most to blame on the good guys? Let us know in the comments!

  1. I do enjoy those lists, also i hope i’m not overstepping but… I think you should make a “hidden villains” list or “the good the bad and the ugly villain” list (first is a list about the characters or events who were the causes of major problems/the creation the antagonists in movies, second is a list for misunderstood/not-so-bad failures/bad-at-being-bad and nasty/truly-evil villains… Sadly i can only think of animated characters for those lists, fyi “hidden villain” for The Incredibles 1+2: the bomb villain and the jumper from early in the first movie)

  2. Most of the people on this list where already evil & just got upgraded.

    No mention of Venom!?!

    Calling this one bullshit

  3. Mysterio was always going to be a villain given that he’s a well known villain in the comics but it was and also wasn’t surprisingly that they made him look into Mandarin 2/Discount Syndrome

  4. I would have switched Ultron and Zemo simply because of the overal crippling effect that he had on the Avenger’s and the fact that only Thanos was able to one-up Zemo’s overall victory.
