  1. Magneto, Helmut Zemo, Thanos, and Killmonger are the most controversial among these villains

Helmut Zemo wanted to make the Avengers answer for the deaths of his family, his friends, and his home but wound up becoming no better by involving and killing innocent people in his quest for revenge. It’s one thing to want to avenge those you lost but when you drag others down with you is where your motive becomes less sympathetic

Thanos decided to “save” the universe by wiping out half of its life because he couldn’t prevent his own race from their own extinction. In that, I see narcissism, self-righteousness, hypocrisy, and a god-complex. Thanos imposing his will on the universe as a whole just because he wants to succeed on a universal scale where he failed with his own planet is pathetically selfish, however he claims the universe’s resources are limited

To some extent, that is true, but wiping out half of all life is not only genocidal and despicable, it’s ineffective.

Killmonger is sympathetic in my eyes, but he still went about his motives the wrong way. I too come from a heritage that has been and still is oppressed by the world around them. But I would seek a diplomatic means of improving their lot in life, and yes a show of strength to prove to others that my people won’t be pushed around.

And finally, we have Magneto – Of all these villains, Magneto is the one I most sympathize. I’m not even Jewish but I wouldn’t wish anyone to a fate like the Holocaust. Erik Lensherr has spent his life a victim, first for his heritage and then for his being a mutant. He has been shaped by the evils of humankind and from his point of view humans are irredeemable. I don’t agree with his zealotries and extremes but I can understand them and even cheer for him when I see what the worst humankind has to offer does to him or his fellow mutants

  2. i didnt like killmonger, he was a racist and acted like a angry child who blamed all problems ether on others or other races
