  5. Chris Brown’s music career became way more successful after he punched her. Look at album sales, how many top ten hits he had, etc etc.

  9. R Kelly probably started a mini baby boom singlehandedly. He has waaaay too much great music to just forget about. You might start to question the lyrics more, but you don’t just forget the man’s discography.
