What Critics Are Saying About Dark Phoenix

1. we should all do ourselves a favor & rewatch the animated Dark Phoenix saga from the 90’s–

2. *Eh, I saw “Last Stand” in theatres. I also saw “Apocalypse,” though I actually liked it. I’ll see “Dark Phoenix” in theatres.*

   (Blessedly, I didn’t see “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” in theatres. Dodged a bullet there!)

3. How did mystique die in this movie.. Which was supposedly before apocalypse.. But was alive in the apocalypse movie. When Jean grey already had the Phoenix force and used the power at the end of the movie to win the fight. The Time line makes no sense… It’s confusing

4. dark phoenix was far more enjoyable for me, in comparison to the endgame. We get a great storyline for a superhero movie, justifiable motives and characters, far superior soundtracks(Hans Zimmer) and cgi effects. Endgame was a cheap time travel solution( watch netflix’s Dark when it comes to mess with the idea of time travel the next time, Marvel), and full of political correctness propaganda(so, the ”X-women” was subtle, instead of all those cheesy and cringy captain marvel scenes and quotes). definetly, the mcu provides comedy and well executed scenes, comparing to these whole xmen prequel films, but when it comes to their endings, the things are reversed. critics and imdb shouldn’t prevent you see Dark phoenix.

5. I thought it was great. I saw it twice. I love the X-Men. I don’t care what anyone says. It was so great to see. The hell with the MCU. The actors who seemed like they didn’t wanna be there just made it much better. They all did a great job acting.i don’t understand why everyone is bashing it.

6. ? don’t think the movie was horrible. ?think it was enjoyable. ? give it 3.75 – 4 ✨’s It was dark and intense. The space shuttle scene showed them working as a well coordinated team like in the comics. Yes there were holes and who in the f** is the “Vuk”?! The Vuk suck! But It was ? how Mags and Jean were fighting over the helicopter but it showed that he obviously couldn’t take her, so why be an idiot and go up against her again? But ? loved how he kept asking her “Who’s blood is that Jean?!” Yes it was slow and not too many action scenes. When they did happen they were exciting. We finally got to see Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler & Jean freak their powers like we know they can. At the end on the ?, when the guy finally let em loose, ?could hear the theme from the ? show playing in my head! Bada da duh duh, Bada da duh duh!

   Yeah ? know those are a lot of “buts” but (?) ? am a little biased cuz they were my favorite comics (besides ?-Man) growing up (? am Black). ? Was not that big on Avengers but they did have bright vibrant colors. ? was a little disappointed that Disney took them and made em super hot over the X-Men. Were the Avengers cheaper to buy? And ? never really liked “The Phoenix Saga”, ?thought it was overrated but ? loved “The Mutant Massacre” & “Inferno.” Inferno foreshadowed 9/11!

   That being said, it was no where near as good as End Game. So ? am l?king forward to s? how Disney’s gonna freak it. Avengers v X-Men!! Nerdgasm!! X-Men 4Ever!!

7. Sooooo, they mixed Fantastic 4: Rise of the silver surfer with X-Men the last stand?. Then actually expected it to work?.

8. We can only hope this is the end of what ever this is ? but as we have seen from fantastic 4 I don’t have high hope,away

9. First Class and Logan are the only good ones

10. I’m nervous for The New Mutants :p
