Superheroes and Star Wars! Those are the stories that took Hollywood by storm this week! Ryan Reynolds as the always hilarious Deadpool appeared in the first official trailer for the sequel, and it was full of fourth wall breaks, inappropriate jokes and of course, the introduction of Cable. The Star Wars universe hired the Game of Thrones showrunners to create a brand new standalone trilogy, so looks like they’ll be trading their Valyrian steel for lightsabers! And finally, Joaquin Phoenix, one of the greatest actors in the business, has agreed to play the iconic role of the Joker in DC’s newest standalone origin film, produced by the great Martin Scorsese! Phoenix is a pretty good actor, I can actually see him as the Joker, my only problem is if the movie is being made because they have a great story to go along with it, or just because they know the joker is pretty popular and would bring in an assload of money regardless? DC has made some pretty shitty decision, the green lantern sucked, not because of bad actors, but shitty movie, Batman vs Super cunt everyone shitted on Affleck as Batman, i thought he fit the role of an older Batman well, the movie kind of sucked because they forced the league of justice storyline into it, that wasn’t the actors fault, I get the feeling this might be similar, throwing a good actor in a big franchise just for the fuck of it.

    It’s stupid how every year we get pretty much the same shit, new star wars, couple new marvel and dc movies, i never gave a shit about star wars, and I skipped most super hero movies, and having 2-3 new ones every year doesn’t really make me wanna see them, A great man (probably)once said “How can I miss You, if You won’t go away?”, they keep shitting out the same crap so often the smell is gonna get to the people eventually and they’ll go smell something else.

I hope they reconsider this, was just thinking about the movie I will never see about Johnny Cash getting a short guy like him to play Cash who isn’t a short fry, coming from Gladiator in a role that a ventriloquist dummy could have as aptly been the suave and evil man that he was. I don’t think so.
