  3. Groot’s mini seres lampshades on his first appearance with other members of his species being invaders. Groot rebelled against them and saved a young girl who was captured by them. This might mean he is a different Groot than the Groot that appeared in his first appearance. Also in the mini series Rocket and Groot watch Carol’s favorite movie which just so happens to be Star Wars. Rocket compares Groot with another love able but hard to understand sidekick.
