during sandy the water came up with such force it ripped oil tanks out of the ground my neighbors oil tank was in my back yard the water was heavily contaminated with oil, sewage and gasoline. the water was about 5 feet deep in front of my house and higher across the street. we couldnt get to the house for days waiting for the water to recede and downed trees to be cleared. we lost everything pictures, furniture, clothes, dishes, house,and car. i never want to go through that again nor do i wish it upon anyone else
