  2. Man made space debris is a serious issue, It’s not a Russia, USA, or Chinese issue it’s a future of man kind issue. That scientists say we are already 10years behind on addressing. There is already 500,000 pieces of debris and growing these items are traveling at 17,000 mph in orbit. Nasa predicted in the 70’s if space debris wasn’t addressed that around our current time we could face the possibility of so much debris we would be trapped on this planet with no means of ever exploring beyond. This is why militarizing space is so dangerous all it would take is one country or another to blow up a few satellites in the right spot and it would be domino effect taking out all satellites. An our way of life as we know it would come to an end, we would immediately be thrown 50-60 years backwards technologically because our current way of life is so dependent on satellites

    • Yea, but obviously we humans are retarded. We cant seem to look at the future. Global warming is not just going to set us back technologicaly, it will also literally destroy civilization as we know it, and no one gives a shit. I mean some dont even believe in it. We are doomed, no wax out of this. Just enjoy the time you have.

  3. You know… US did the same, destroyed a US-spy satellite using an anti-satellite missile from a F-15, created tons of debris… Worse, US actually launched needles into space in an attempt on improving AM radio reception… which didn’t work and left millions of 1-2 inch long needles in space.

  4. There are global treaties against space weapons, and with Intel as it is nowadays, it’s basically impossible. This is a video about cool ideas from the cold war… But really isn’t relevant now.
