Lydia??? like.. the BEST companion in Skyrim? Really? :O
There’s far worse party members than Vanille in the Final Fantasy franchise
I sacrificed Lydia to Boethia. lmao
Hey, no bad words about Lydia! I’ve spent about 200 hours with her in Skyrim. Going through good and bad times. No, she’s not very clever, and yes she is not really the talking one. Had to respawn her I don’t know how many times when she got stuck or whatever. But hey, doesn’t matter. After a while my character fell in love with her (made that storyline up myself of course). I gave her fabulous gear when I could and when the time was right I married her.
Now she runs a shop in Solitude (no idea what she sells), but she’s happy and lives a peaceful and quiet life after all those countless adventures (and again, made that last part up. The beauty of an RPG 🙂
Anyway, leave Lydia alone please.
I don’t know if it’s fair to single out Lydia since essentially ALL companion characters in Skyrim behave the exact same way as her. Also, the worst companion character in the Dragon Age franchise by far has to be Aveline. Not only does she have virtually no redeeming qualities, her loyalty quest literally sees our main character sit awkwardly in a bar with some dude she had a crush on.
