I would’ve killed envy. Killing princess malty and her father would be getting them off the hook in life for their crimes so having their names changed to more degrading ones is a more fitting punishment.
Mercy in anime is most of the time too cheesy or dumb for example raphtalia and the noble (i forgot his name) in the anime she wanted to spared his life because she wanted be different and better than him, but he raided her villiage after it already got destroyed by the wave ,he enslaved her and friends, one them died ,she got tortured by him and he enslaved demi humans. In the manga and Lightnovel she intended to kill him and end all suffering that he done to other and that is realistic ,but most of the anime mercy scenes are like i am better than the villain or something like that and that is sooooo dumb
I think shield hero the anime is really pure crap and i still vomit if think about.
