What about Baywatch Nights
Yeah, well, the Raymond Burr version of Ironside was pretty unpleasant at times (Burr was even harder to relate to as Ironside than he ever was as Perry Mason), and, of course, Burr himself wasn’t crippled either. So, I always thought THAT criticism about the new show was kind of disingenuous. Bad scripts and bad characterizations, of course, are universal.
The Colbys never worked either, but then it didn’t get REALLY stupid until Fake Fallon got captured by a UFO, and the producers forgot about that when the characters returned to Dynasty (which, in Britain, is pronounced to rhyme with Dysentery).
And to the end of his life, Steven Bochco praised Cop Rock. So, what can you do….
