  1. “Vatican Secret Archives” is a misinterpretation of the Latin ‘Archivum
    Secretum Apostolicum’. It is more accurately translated to “Apostle’s
    Personal Archive”, Apostle meaning the Pope, as this library is considered
    the personal property of the pope. Access is restricted because a lot of
    its contents are centuries old, one of a kind documents.
