What about the Alan Smithee movie?
I fully admit I could be wrong but in all the years I collected comics I don’t ever remember quicksilver being a member of the X-Men. He definitely made his first appearance in X-Men but that was when he was a member of the brotherhood of evil mutants. He definitely WAS a member of X-Factor though. But that’s an entirely different team with no direct affiliation to the X-Men (The X-Men are a private group while X-factor was run by the government).
