    • The only animated film of 2020 that you put on your list of most anticipated sequels is Minions 2!!! WTF!!!!!

      I agree with most of the other choices on this list for sure like A Quiet Place 2, but one of the many things that really bugs me about WatchMojo is that it holds Minions and Illumination Entertainment in general to such a high pedestol that it doesn’t welcome if people have reasonable criticisms towards this film!!!

      Maybe Minions 2 does warrant a sequel, but then it would be to highly improve on the big flaws its predecessor was infamous for like cliched and lowbrow humour, over-animation with character designs that look weak in CGI and titular characters that are overrated beyond belief. If you don’t mind Minions (I mean both the movie and titular characters), then power to you. But another reason why I would consider Minions to be one of the worst major animated films of 2015 besides Strange Magic (while Anamolisa is the best-of-the-best, its anti-defenders are overrated).

      But I feel like since they made the surprisingly passable The Grinch, I am more adept at giving Illumination Entertainment a chance since a long time when I was moderately pleased by Despicable Me 1 and anticipated for Hop (I didn’t know if it was gonna actually be good, but I didn’t know it would turn out to be that bad either) back in the early 2010s.

  6. I could see watching most of these….definitely not minions 2 though. My son and I barely made it through the first one, and he fell asleep lol

  8. no way in hell is Wonder Woman 2. 1984 is the number one anticipated sequel 2020 ahead of Ghostbusters 3 and Bill & Ted 3 no effing way.

  10. I would’ve put Bill & Ted and Ghosterbusters ahead of most other movies on the list–with the exception of WONDER WOMAN 1984 and Bond 25.
