  1. Great list! Hope you can scare up another ten of these. The first group of books was a great one too. Having read the Necronomicon (not the pop-up version or one inspired by the Evil Dead franchise), I actually found it a fascinating book, but I do love scary things, so, go fig on that one. For horror novels, you can’t get much better than King. The scariest book I’ve ever read? Hands down one called Candlemass Eve. Not for its content though, but for how horrifically BADLY written it was! For a good scare I really loved William W. Johnstone’s early work – Rockinghorse, The Devil’s Cat, Cat’s Cradle….after Baby Grand they got a bit too…preachy for my tastes). Would love to see you tackle cursed movies and TV shows too! Those would be fascinating! Cheers and keep up the great lists!
