“Jurassic World” made us wish dinosaurs were still roaming the earth while also making us grateful that they went extinct over 66 million years ago. On one hand, few sights would be more awe-inspiring than witnessing a live Brachiosaurus wander by. On the other hand, it’s hard to imagine anything more terrifying than coming face to face with a Velociraptor or Tyrannosaurus rex. If these movies have taught us anything, it’s that cloning dinosaurs and showcasing them in a wildlife park sounds like a promising business venture on paper. In the end, though, playing God would probably come back to bite us… quite literally. So, now’s as good a time as any to seriously ask ourselves, “what if Jurassic World was real?”

Watchmojo: What if Jurrasic Park was real?

Alternate history hub: Hey, that was suppose to be my topic

  1. Good job for the guy screaming in fallen kingdom for looking at the Baryonyx because I would do dat

  2. Then I would go and see the Dinos. It’ll be my childhood dream to see a dinosaur. And survive. ?

  3. The only thing that would suck is that they would have feathers…. a t rex looks a lot less cool when it is covered in feathers

  4. They would have to make difference types of shock collars for every meat eating dinosaur in the park .

  5. They wanted to take DNA from those prehistoric mosquito out of all of the things????
No better proof that scientists are evil.

  6. Dinosaurs existed on a planet with atmospheric levels nothing like today. Much of the fungus and bacteria that existed along side dinosaurs are extinct. Much of an animals digestive process is aided by bacteria that they come in contact with in the womb, during birth, and during the nurturing stages and becomes a fundamental part of how they are able to process food as well. That’s not to mention that dinosaurs entire immune system is built around bacteria that doesn’t exist anymore. They would also quickly come into contact with millions of pathogens that they have no defense for. I hate to burst bubbles but Jurassic Park addressed only tiniest cap of the proverbial iceberg that is the seemingly infinite complexity it would take to simply keep these things alive. But even if you were able to figure out how to get all the necessary pathogenic check boxes filled then you open up the new can of worms of putting people and the planet itself in contact with pathogens, flora, and fauna it has no defense for.
