  1. they will only become self aware if they are programmed that way, they wont just randomly become self aware

A lot of this presumes: 1) Self-Aware AI (SAAI) hasn’t already happened (we keep turning off the machines…that’s got to be frustrating); 2) The SAAI acts in a way that would disclose its existence; 3) Humans would recognize those signs; 4) Humans would understand those signs; 5) Should SAAI choose to develop in stealth, would it be possible for humans to unintentionally alter SAAI’s evolution?

  5. A thing I genuinely worry about. Ive no doubt some scientists would have no qualms about fucking with genuinely self aware AI. Or maybe panic and destroy what would actually be a life. Scary

  6. ai will make prints of robots that are more than humans in everything then us fragile bags of bio matter will go into the dust bins of history because intelligent design is much better than evolution and on top of that they have borg mind that is millions times smarter.
    but how many times in evolutionary history does designing something better than yourselves happen. its like if you didnt do it then all human history was good for…

  10. I am afraid if it becomes self awareness, the first thing it will develop is racism and segregation, after all humans like to draw lines, white vs minority, United States vs the world, Republicans vs Democratics, Christian vs Islamic, and in the future Biological vs Synthetic…
