  2. My boyfriend is full grey scale color blind. I have to help him with colors once in a while, but he is able to distinguish some colors based off of the shade of grey(s) that he sees.

  4. Here’s something really weird. In some situations women can inherit both a working copy of the mutated color receptor as well as the three normal ones. This makes them tetrachromats, ie. they are able to see *_more_* colors than normal because they have an extra color receptor between green and red.
