Two WTF endings that I felt should get honorable mentions are the endings from Cargo and The Night Eats The World. And possibly the Shining. That picture with Jack Torrance and the 1920s patrons was creepy AF.
The mist ending is incredibly sad

The movie Mother is the story of I guess the abusive relationship between God and Mother Nature
I tried to watch The Mist a 2nd time. Could not do it. The radicalization of the people in the supermarket to the point of sacrificing an innocent person just made me so angry and sick, I didn’t even make it back to the ending.
The ancient ones like chtulu will rise again to kill mankind, unless the elder gods rise too.
The mist wasn’t a WTF ending it was more of a OFY (OH F*** YOU!) movie ending. Seriously it was the biggest middle finger to a movie I ever witnessed and remains my most hated movie to date T_T
