  2. oh shh people design things from scifi shows not the other way around, look at clam shells the designer of the 1st one even said star trek was his inspiration. Not a prediction, its creating something we saw on TV that looked cool. Even if it was a bad idea.

  3. I’m going to have to disagree with your #10 choice. How do you know that some nerd at Google didn’t get the idea for Google Glass by watching Star Trek? It’s not a prediction, but merely an inspiration.
