  1. Civil War II was not a sequel for Civil War.

    The original Civil War comics killed off many heroes and villains, like Captain America himself. Civil War II took place after Secret Wars.

    Plus many readers, and myself, would argue that Civil War II wasn’t the actual Civil War, but Secret Empire was.

    -secret wars (the original) (introduction of the black suit)
    -Spider-Man One More day (spiderman’s continuity hasn’t changed since)
    -Siege (destruction of Asgard, death of Loki & Sentry, Norman Osborn’s fall from grace, registration act ends)
    -days of future past

  3. i feel as if anything that has to do with rebooting the entire universe is just one big way of saying that the writers messed up the plot and want to start over.
