Honestly i need to go on the record here and say i used to make fun of sororities all the time. It just seemed so cultish and all the girls seemed like the snobby popular ones from school that were mean anyway. And for some reason they would stop at nothing to try and initiate you into Bi Pheta Kappa. I mean please, im just trying to get to class i don’t need this harassment. But in my 4th year i realized the sisterhood was actually genuine, and i had no friends so maybe i should’ve joined a sorority after all. Either way if you’ve ever been to a Greek party you know these houses can be pristine or they can be trash. And that’s just the house itself not even what goes on there. So lets get into it. Sorority life is for idiots who think they are perfect
AKA is evil. Don’t know exactly how long they’ve been around but back in the 80s and 90s they would get pledges from local high schools. Usually sophomore year. For the rest of the year they could only speak to teachers and staff or other AKAs. If one fucked up, the others had to provide punishment. One friend that joined was pushed down a flight of marble stairs for talking to a guy that wasn’t approved.
