  1. My husband likes listening to rain storm sounds and I like laundry sounds. Anyone of the top 5 could make for good horrors 🙂

  2. I use lavender oil every night. It’s an essential oil and has many uses. I also have sleep problems but this definitely helps

  3. I deal with incidents of being unable to sleep for days (certainly not 11, but after 2 or 3 days of not sleeping (no stimulants involved)- not for lack of trying, certainly – it can absolutely be mentally, emotionally and physically draining.), and other times of not being able to get enough sleep…it’s a roller coaster not many want to ride more than once. To help with getting to sleep, however, I can make a few suggestions that work for me sometimes.
Getting completely unhooked from tech certainly is a given – no phone, TV, computer, etc. however, there are ways you can get tech to help you out. A white noise machine can work wonders – playing the sounds of rainfall, waves, white noise (static), running water heartbeat and other soothing sounds is a good start. Mediation, too, is something that can help immensely. There is a new piece of tech out there, I forget what it’s called, but it projects a halo of light on the ceiling that you slow and time your breathing to, slowing your breath in a meditative state. Aromatherapy diffusers can be a great tool as well. Going low tech to ear plugs and eye masks can help too. Hope you found something useful in all that! Cheers!

  4. I’m pretty disappointed in #6, the Russian experiment. You go on to explain it half way, just saying that it was an experiment that happened and before going on to even talk about the results of that experiment the video just moves on to the next one. It felt awkwardly cut short.

  5. Get the room you sleep in quite cool, cool enough to need the use of the blankets; re-hydrate an hour before bed, use the bathroom instead of holding it in even though you don’t want to leave the warm bed, use some weed and some alcohol to get sleepy: avoid caffine for six hours before sleeping. Finally an orgasm can induce sleep.
To avoid waking up, maintain a base level of sound, generated by a fan or a youtube channel which specialises in sleep sounds like rain or ocean waves, or subtle birds warbling for ten hours.
