I hear the original little mermaid were after she dies and turns to sea foam. She becomes a spirit that due to her selflessness. And after 300 years of good deeds then she can go to a place where no mermaid has gone before.
The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie as a child. Didn’t realize my VHS cover had a golden penis on the castle though,until I was older. ?
I’ve seen a dark version of The Little Mermaid when I was younger. It was close to the original story and ended badly: she jumps into the water and turns into a jellyfish.
