  1. Wow, no Goldfinger (1964)? not only is it a great scene, but it has a funny payoff when the atomic bomb is finally deactivated the timer reads 007.

  2. and as usual mojo shows NO sense of history. how about then end of Galipoli? Mel gibson has to get back with orders the attack is cancelled. watches click down as he rushes through the trenchs. and of course High Noon. done in real time Gary cooper tries to get the townspeople to stand with him against the bad guy arriving on the noon train, and as he goes from door to door, the clock ticks down- nearing hifgh noon

  3. HOW TF IS INTERSTELLAR NOT ON HERE???!!!! IT’S BASICALLY ABOUT TIME AND ITS INEVITABILITY, FOR HEAVENS SAKE!

MILLER’S PLANET HAS EVERY RIGHT IN THE WORLD TO BE #1. IF YOU COULDN’T USE THAT THEN WHAT ABOUT THE DOCKING SCENE? OR THE ENDING WHEN HE MEETS MURPH AGAIN RIGHT BEFORE SHE DIES?

But really people. Interstellar is the best movie ever. I honestly cannot believe it’s not on here, especially since it’s practically ABOUT TIME. People are so dumb…

  4. I’m not sure if this really counts but the Freddy vs Jason scene where the girl needs to be waken up nightmare seemed like a appropriate choice for this list

  5. I love Alien, however Aliens countdown trumps the end of Alien any day. The tension is doubled by the protagonist being actively hunted through the sequence + saving an innocent, all to a 15min clock that’s ticking in masterfully edited, real time.
    “Close your eyes baby!”
