I’m from Belgium and honestly, elderly people might find hands in your pockets to come off as lazy or cocky, but apart from that it’s really not rude or offensive
So I have a question about the compliment one- so please; anyone from those areas of the Middle East and Africa or travelers there- how about if you compliment someone on their taste in decor or style? Is that a good way of going about it? I’m seriously just very curious about that one.
