The locations constantly change because of radiation, people all forgot about their bans, the barn rebuilds itself, barts genetic allergies are inconsistent because of unstable genetic makeup, marvin monroe is a reanimate, marge selectively chooses her fears, homer has a hair disorder, their home teleports a lot, fat tony has multiple personality syndrome, nelson’s dad selectively likes his son based on circumstance, and the backstory varies for the fact that maybe they can’t remember? But hey, thats just a theory… A FILM THEORY!!

  4. 8:28 marge tells homer she’s pregnant with Lisa but there’s a picture of Lisa on the wall already simpsons always predicting the future

  6. I think that the Simpsons is still the best TV show on TV second is Family Guy third is American Dad and fourth is South Park.

  7. Yeah, the number one inconsistancy on here is a fallacy. I mean, unless im mistaken, the example cited where bart is growing up “in the 2000s” is from an episode that is actually a parody of a movie called boyhood, which is about a boy growing from a boy to an adult, in nearly real time. (the movie was filmed over the course of the child actors boyhood yes)and therefore, should exist outside of canon. Quite possibly the same thing exists with homer and his grunge band. IMO the “canon” homer and marge relationship story, is the one where homer works at a mini golf course, involves the prom, and artie ziff (and his wandering hands)since its referenced outside the realm of the tv show.

  9. Jokes to fit the episodes content… The comedy in The Simpson’s is Satire, Sarcastic, Ironic, or in some cases to show how Homers perception of life is through his eyes…

  10. At 8:20, you can clearly see pictures on the wall of Homer after he became bald, and another picture of Lisa, but the scene was before Bart was even born and when Homer had hair ?
