  1. PG-13 was implemented in 1984 so any entry before that should not really be considered because it went from PG straight to R before then

  2. All of these are 80`s and 90`s movie. Cant judge a movie out of it`s time. Not saying that they got this all wrong but movies past the current rating system should have been looked at. All of these would be rated PG-13 or R after 1990

  3. How about 18 Again! (1988) starring the late, great, George Burns. Besides being an awesome comedy, there is an early scene in which his grandson (Charlie Schlatter) is sitting in his Art Drawing class talking to his friend, with class ready to begin. It begins with the professor introducing a beautiful, towel-clad young woman. He then signals the drawing to commence, whereupon said towel-clad model stands-up and drops the towel, exposing her full-frontal nude body to the class. The director even holds the camera on her for a full 5 seconds. Not only is the film NOT rated R, but it’s actually rated PG. Yeah. Figure THAT one out!

One other one that should have been at least an Honorable Mention is Waking Ned Devine (1998) which has not one, but TWO scenes of male nudity: First, when the 2 main characters go skinny-dipping together (rear nudity, a minimum of 10 seconds), and when one of them goes on a famous (or infamous) long-distance motorcycle ride completely naked, a scene that, by the way, runs nearly 5 full nearly unedited minutes. Again, should’ve been an easy R. Instead, it’s PG. I guess Old Man Butt just isn’t as offensive to peeps for some strange reason.

Oh, and let’s not even get started on the first 2 Planet Of The Apes films; two G-RATED films that DEFINITELY should have been AT LEAST PG, if not R!!

  4. The issue with this entire list is these films were only rated pg in america. it wildly varies from country to country. Jaws was always rated 14A in canada. and other countries gave it a hard R or 18A
