  1. I feel vindicated to see that Jaws was number 1.
    I was watching it and thinking, “How on EARTH is this in the same rating category as Frozen?”

  2. Two more (excellent) movies to add:

    Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory had that bizarre scene in the tunnel that showed a chicken being beheaded & all kinds of creepy crawly things. I remember seeing it in the movie theater as a kid, but the scene actually bothered me more when I saw it as an adult. Was G but probably would be PG today for that scene alone.

    Planet of the Apes (the original) was G-rated despite a scene where a man’s rear is exposed (scene where they pull a loincloth off of Charlton Heston’s character). Would be PG today as well.
