These were some great movies RUINED by happy endings. There’s a time and a place for happy endings, and these movies weren’t it. We’re looking at otherwise good movies that pulled a happy ending virtually out of nowhere, ending on an upbeat note that actually hurt the movie in question. 2. Memoirs of a Geisha was a biography. Chio / sayori did in fact move to NY however only after she and the chairman married in Japan. Lived their a a few years then she moved to NY they were still married and after the chairman retired he joined her in the states. Until his dead . please do you searched before making videos

  3. The original ending for Pretty in Pink was for Andie (Molly Ringwald) to end up with Duckie (Jon Cryer) at the end. It wasn’t necessarily about romance, but about two friends sticking together. However, apparently that ending bombed with test audience, so it was reshot so she ended up with Blaine (James Spader). I don’t believe the original ending has ever seen the light of day, but it sounds like it would have been better (aside for the music as OMD’s If You Leave was a perfect song made for that alternate ending).

  4. Well, that’s 11-plus minutes I’ll never get back. What happened to the list of movies with the video timestamps? I’ve not seen even one of these films. And now, I won’t even try.

  5. Why don’t you ask disney own into the woods ? Or the darkest minds (I don’t know) I’m still mad!

  6. The Game did not have a happy ending. He killed himself like his father. There just happened to be a cushion to catch him. Your simple millennial minds did not understand the movie.

  7. The Game was fuckin perfect.. watch mojo really need to understand foreshadowing in film.
