8. if you want those types of films to succeed, might I offer some advice? hire actors of that specific heritage to play said roles. want Egyptians? go and hire REAL egyptians. want Mongols? hire Real Mongolians! USE YOUR HEADS HOLLYWOOD! YOU’RE GROWN ADULTS FOR F*CKS SAKE!

honestly, if Marvel keeps up what they are doing, ill never tire of them
One thing that drives me crazy:
Speaking lowly and barely audibly, especially in dramas or action movies.
What’s the point of watching a movie in a language you understand when you can’t even HEAR what they’re saying? Just because it makes the characters or movie seem cooler/grittier/more serious/whatever is not a good enough reason to make viewers miss half of what characters are saying.
Do you know how much it sucks for a character to say something seemingly serious, and then some huge event happens immediately afterward and it’s clearly supposed to be some incredible moment or whatever, but you lost it because you didn’t hear what they said?
I watch some TV shows with English subtitles on Netflix largely for this reason. Even if I did hear what they said, seeing it also makes me comprehend it better.
But the fact that for some shows, I have to, is ridiculous. People don’t speak like this in real life. Why make them inaudible onscreen?
Other than the 4 movies you showed us, there aren’t that many chosen one movies.
The problem is quality, not quantity.
