  1. Skidz and Mudflap are not “extremely racist caricatures of black stereotypes”. Annoying? Sure. Racist? No.

Wait…how can I say that? Simple. In the first movie, we were told that the Autobots fashioned their speech after what they saw on TV and the Internet. Considering just how many people you see on TV and the Internet acting and speaking in such fashion as Skidz and Mudflap, I’d say they’s simply imitating a common manner of speech.

Does it seem racist? Maybe, except AT NO POINT IN THE ENTIRE MOVIE does it say these are meant to be black people, or that they reflect black people in any way. Head down to the southern portion of the US – especially in rural areas or in inner cities – and tell me there aren’t plenty of white people talking like that. We’re not talking about racial stereotypes, but instead about youthful urban dialect – something that is common among ALL RACES in those environments.

You think it’s a caricature of black people? I think that makes YOU the racist.

  2. I think I’m literally one of the few people, outside my friends and family, that actually enjoyed Eight Crazy Nights. Little Nicky not so much lol.

  3. So you can accuse Skids & Mudflap for being racist stereotypes but then put my man Chris Tucker as Ruby Rhod as number 4 for being a loud mouth?

  4. I would remove Woody Woodpecker from the list, push Peewee Herman and Jar Jar Binks down one, and put Kathy Ireland in “Alien From LA” at the top.
