  2. As good as Shelley Duvall was in THE SHINING, I find myself wondering: was it really necessary for Kubrick to be so brutal with her or was he just being a sadist?

  3. The shinning would of been the ultimate horror film if they chose a different actress Shelley Duvall is one of the worst actresses I have ever seen.

  4. I don’t know why but I love the shining it one of my favorite movies even though it gave me nightmares.

  5. I feel like Linda Blair and the lady from poltergeist had the most reason. Especially since Linda now has back problems and most of the cast poltergeist is dead. The rest I feel overreacted. The only one of these movies that was actually scary is the exorcist.
