Many of these characters are among the best villains in their respective genres; it’s a shame so many people are unable to differentiate the intended personal hatred for characters like Umbridge and Percy which is due to the narrative *succeeding* at creating an effectively despicable villain with the annoyed hatred for characters like Jar Jar and Bella which is due to *bad* narrative design. By all means, the two categories deserve separate lists.
