I think de-extinction is a symptom of humans wanting to play God, but I still think we should do it. I would love to see us actually bring back some animals from extinction, mostly cuz I think it would be cool. When it comes to playing God, I say, “If God ain’t gonna literally come down from heaven and stop us from doing it, let’s do it.” I honestly believe that if God didn’t want us doing something, He would personally stop us from doing it Himself. I really do like the idea of de-extinction and I would love to see it actually happen in my lifetime. So please let’s actually do it. And this is coming from a Christian.
