  2. Ricky Nelson – had a gf who was obsessed with Elvis. He told her he could sing just as well, and she laughed at him. So he talked to his dad who let him perform at the end of one of their family’s tv show. He went on to become the Prince of Rock n Roll.

  4. Bard Pitt is a solid actor, but I can’t think of any roles I would potentially nominate him for Best Actor in, besides Fight Club and Benjamin Button. He is really good in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” but Sam Rockwell and Casey Affleck are better.

  5. Sidney Poitier, J.K Rowlings, Fred Astaire, and The Beatles are amazing people who can show the world that you can overcome the obstacles and prove that you can do it.

  6. Inspiring even in the sense not of acting or stardom, but every day life. Some of us get told we’re unlikeable and will never have friends or date, or are too stupid to achieve anything like college.

  10. Lindsey Stirling got told she would never make it anywhere and now she’s a star. I’m disappointed to not see her here
