  1. Do you still agree with this list? If not, what do you think are the biggest differences between the two comic book giants, especially with the release of movies like “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Wonder Woman,” and “The Justice League?” Be sure to head on over to the Suggest page to cast your vote!

    • WatchMojo.com I didn’t like that you put your personal opinion a little.
I fought it was a objective list about differences.

    • I mostly do not agree with your list – except #3 – Marvel uses real land marks in their fictional stories, while DC uses familiar places with different names.

The biggest difference is Marvel tells stories, makes their characters complex and different, but still true to who they are from the comics. This drives the plot and even though the Marvel formula is familiar because they are all connected, each story is a complete stand-alone film. DC has the plot drive their characters and story. They really aren’t making an experience with each of their shows, they really are doing – look at what Superman can do and isn’t Batman cool. No real thought seems to have gone into making their films. In fact the only film that has been getting any praise, Marvel did the exact same story 6 years ago and did it better.

The other difference is DC seems to like to make their final battle or climax of the film be a big beam of light being orbited by debris. I don’t know why they do this with every single one of their movies, because I don’t think there is any DC Comic that has this but it is a formula that has really ruined the experience for me, mainly because I now expect it and I’m very disappointed when it happens.

  2. Both are great..marvel is fun is like raimbows and candies and milk shakes, and DC is darky, more realistic, an inspirational, is like a good meal whit a glass of beer….

  3. Technically uncle Ben has come back. He was a spider totem in a difference universe during that whole spider verse thing. I think I got that right
