  1. Gargoyles should be number 1, but it should have been made 20 years ago when Jonathan frakes could still play xanatos

  2. So, only RECENT cartoons then.

What about Roger Ramjet? Patrick Warburton would be perfect as Roger.

How about Milton the Monster, with John Goodman in the title role?

What about Wacky Races? And for something a bit more recent, how about Freakazoid? Daria? Angela Anaconda?

  3. A word of caution to any movie adaptations. The ability to “translate to film easily” is not and should not be synonymous with translating “well.”

  4. 1. Magic School Bus? Recess would work better.
    2. Johnny Bravo would have a macho blonde actor like Chris Hemsworth dubbed over by Duke Nukem VO John St. John.
    3. Since Keith David is no longer in fighting form for Goliath, he would need to be cast as the villain.
    4. NO WAY can I see PPG be done justice as Live Action. Just drop it!
    5. Other than the 2005? version of Thundercats being better for live action… DAMN WatchMojo! Did you have to show the only nude scene in the entire 80s series?!
    6. Indeed there is a Teen Titans movie being made.
    7. Nobody wants Captain Planet’s eco-morality shoved down their throats anymore, not even Liberals!
    8. Jumanji was done well, so it shouldn’t be too hard to follow it with Gravity Falls.
    9. Mission Impossible may have been done well, but Get Smart was ruined. Since “sidekick spy flicks” never did well (Cloak and Dagger, 3 Ninjas…), Kim Possible would likely get trashed.
    10. Since people are getting tired of Transformers, Beast Wars would likely need to be either fan-made or low-budget crowd-funded like Kung Fury

  5. Oh my gosh, Jonny Bravo would be awful. I feel like no matter who you put in that role, it’s going to come off cheesy and creepy!

Also, Nicolas Cage would definitely make it creepy.

  6. Pretty sure the Gargoyles movie is happening actually. All I have to say about it so far is no matter how good or bad it is I cannot watch it if they don’t have Keith David voicing Goliath.
