Lol, only reason I clicked on this video was because the Foo Fighters were on the thumbnail.
I can atleast understand the reasoning for #1, after they explained it.
From what I understand, a bunch of performers add at least one majorly ridiculous thing in their contract or rider, just as a guarantee for the booker or promoter to read the entire contract. If they bring up the crazy demand, odds are they’re let off the hook because the performer knows they read it all the way through.
The brown M&M Van Halen thing was the band’s way of making sure that the promoter had thoroughly read the contract provisions including the safety standards for the stage, electricity, etc.
Just glad Cheap Trick is still rocking and didn’t make this quirky list.
