  2. I thought the traveling egg from Dinosaur should be on here. Between the music and animation, it was extremely good.

  3. Up has an opening that’s nothing short of beautiful, but Lion King’s is the iconic one. I like Up better as a movie (and think Lion King is overrated) but you have to give it the opening, if nothing else. I’m not sure if a more powerful 4 minutes of animation exists…

    Also, while Fantastic Mr. Fox was a nice reminder of what that movie did well, I’d have to say every unranked opening in the video, including Shrek in the intro, would have made for better choices, as well as many, many others (Land Before Time, for one).
