  1. DC and Warner Bros. are getting ridiculous with their movies. Lobo, Nightwing, Gotham City Sirens, Deadshot, and now Batgirl. They really need to plan out their universe and films or it will be a mess.

  7. Do enough people really give a shit about Batgirl? It’s not as if DC have been making good films. The last 3 were terrible.

  10. This is a very good announcement. DC is getting battered at the box office and needs all the help they can get. Joss is a nerd and respectful of the source material, and works best with scripts that have strong female leads. Plus, he has a strong track record of making solid fantasy movies, regardless of sub-genre.
