They’re the craziest, most deranged supervillains in comics… but which is crazier? When Erik Larsen created Cletus Kasady, he was clearly inspired by the Joker, but Carnage has become a terrifying character in his own right since being introduced. Who will reign supreme in the battle of the murderous nutjobs?

  1. Brutality is a bit iffy imo. It’s dependent what you say is brutal. Or if you count psychological pain as brutal.
Joker is Needlessly brutal. And can be just as brutal and more brutal than carnage. But he doesn’t just act brutal physically to others. But to himself like when he cut off his own face then wears it as a mask later on. But psychologically as well.
He once Poisoned Louis lane with a seemingly cancer like disease. And the only choices Superman was given was to Kill Joker in order to get the cure. Thus destroying his reputation and morals to the public and himself. Or letting the love of his life die. Then, once Superman chose to uphold his morales with the help of Batman. Louis Lane died, but came back seconds later. As it was all an elaborate Joke that the Joker was pulling. Just for shits and giggles. Which later destroyed his relationship with Louis Lane when she learned his choice.
That is Majorly psychologically brutal. Beyond screwed up. And not even some of the worse stuff he has done.
