I think watchmen’s characters are very interesting
Do we really need this?
So basically it’s set in Oklahoma, set closer to now, and keeping Ozymandias. Why didn’t they just write a new story? That way they could avoid comparisons to the original comics/film. In my opinion, there’s no point taking on the name of a popular property if you are going to make it so distinctly and purposefully different from the original. It just seems too risky.
