Next to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this superhero conclusion fell flat on its feet. X-Men: Dark Phoenix was not the superhero movie finale for Professor Xavier, Magneto, Mystique and Beast that we asked for, and we’re taking look at exactly what went wrong in this new X-Men movie. Marvel will do the Dark Phoenix Saga correctly. It would need 2 or 3 to do the story line properly.
It’s really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Last Stand, Wolverine Origins and Apocalypse are far worse. It’s an alright film that was slotted into the end of a poorly done franchise where no one no longer cared. Hopefully Disney can do better with the X-men in a couple of years.

Guys I’m really confused, are there two mystiques or two different futures? If mystique is gone in this film, who is the mystique in the future xmen or earlier films?
Well at least Fox doesn’t destroy it’s comic book adaptations like Warner Bros does DC.
